The Nova Scotia provincial government GIS User Group is hosting a GIS Day event at Scotia Square Mall during the work day. Come by on your break or lunch hour to see how various departments use GIS to support their initiatives.
GANS will be hosting a GIS Day event at the Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History that evening, featuring a great line up of speakers, celebratory cake, door prizes and free give always! Don't miss out. The event is free to members and $10 for non-members/guests. Event details can be found

Remeber that no matter your location or your availability on GIS Day, you can always find time to spread the word of GIS. Take a minute to talk to a coworker who may not fully understand what you do, talk to your child's teacher, mention it to sibling or a parent. Help promote awareness around GIS.
