This year for GIS Day & Geography Awareness Week members and friends of GANS gathered together at the Museum of Natural History for some great demonstrations with the digital Earth sphere, presentations, networking, and cake (of course).

Everyone agreed that it was a wonderful gathering with presentations from Chris Turner, Jeff McKenna & Shiju Mathew about being successful in the Nova Scotia job market, the Open Geospatial Community and Stormwater Billing.

We took some of the photos taken at the event and presented them into a little slide show with captions. If you have any photos that you would like to share then we would love to hear from you .Please share the links to GANS photos with others in your geomatic networks and show your support for GANS with a "Like" if you have not already done so.

Lastly we hope that everyone had a great  GIS Day & Geography  Awareness Week and that you will mark your calendar for the next GANS event, December 11 at the Museum of the Atlantic.
